On their ambitious journey from Accra to Dubai, Wanderlust Ghana faced an unfortunate setback as they were robbed in Krefeld, Germany.
Kwabena Peprah, a key team member, shared the news via Facebook on September 27, 2024, revealing that the robbery happened on day 13 of their trip.
The robbers broke into a Tacoma, one of the team’s vehicles, stealing money and potentially important documents, including Kwame’s passport.
This theft could jeopardize Kwame’s ability to continue the journey, as replacing the passport and visas may prove difficult.
Currently, the team is waiting at a German police station to report the incident. Kwame expressed concern in a video that his passport may have been stolen, which could mark the end of his participation.
Wanderlust Ghana, known for their road trip from Accra to London in 2023, is embarking on another overland adventure through 30 countries in 30 days.
