Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician Samini has become the subject of reports surrounding a London boat party that was scheduled to take place over the weekend.

Public event listings confirm that an event titled “White Night on the Thames – Summer Boat Party” was scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Blackfriars Pier in London. The event was promoted as an entertainment cruise on the River Thames.

Reports circulating around the event have claimed that a planned appearance involving Samini did not go ahead following concerns surrounding the number of people at the venue.

What has been independently confirmed is that Samini is among the Ghanaian stars scheduled to perform at Stonebwoy’s BHIM Festival at OVO Arena Wembley on August 15, 2026.

The official OVO Arena Wembley event listing names Samini among the guest performers alongside acts including Kwabena Kwabena, Ofori Amponsah and DopeNation.

That appearance is currently still listed by the venue.
