Rapper Sarkodie has sued Ecobank Ghana for allegedly using a lookalike of him in a commercial without consent.
Filed at the Commercial Division of the High Court in Accra, the lawsuit claims the ad caused both reputational and financial damage.

Sarkodie is demanding general damages, a perpetual injunction, and removal of all related promo materials.
The rapper says the bank’s actions infringe on his intellectual property rights.
Ecobank is yet to respond to the lawsuit.
