Ghanaian dancehall star, Charles Nii Armah Jnr., known as Shatta Wale, earned praise after addressing an important issue at a meeting organized by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
As part of his campaign activities, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer met with various celebrities and industry figures. After presenting his plans for the creative arts sector, attendees had the chance to ask questions.
Shatta Wale, identifying himself as a former street boy, questioned Dr Bawumia about his intentions for the youth living on the streets. To ensure they understood, he even requested that Dr Bawumia respond in pidgin.
Wale’s question received applause, and Dr Bawumia made an effort to reply in pidgin, resonating with the audience.
