The clarification is expected to calm growing concerns among Ghanaian football fans as the Black Stars continue preparations for upcoming international assignments and the road toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Thomas Partey remains one of Ghana’s most experienced players and is widely expected to play a significant role if the Black Stars qualify for the global tournament.
Why This Story Matters
Visa issues involving footballers often generate major public attention because they can affect national team preparations and tournament participation. However, until official confirmation emerges, the Sports Minister says there is no basis to conclude that Thomas Partey has been denied entry into Canada.
