St. Peter’s Senior High School (SHS) has successfully advanced to the Quarter-finals of the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
The competition, held at the CNC Auditorium on October 21, 2024, saw St. Peter’s SHS overcoming Krobo Girls’ SHS and Anglican SHS, Kumasi, with a final score of 35 points.
The contest opened with confidence from all schools, but St. Peter’s dominated early, leading with 15 points in Round One. Although Krobo Girls’ SHS briefly took the lead in the ‘Prudential Life Insurance Speed Race,’ St.
Peter’s regained their advantage in the final round. By solving two riddles in the ‘GOIL Riddle Bonanza,’ they sealed their win with 35 points, while Anglican SHS and Krobo Girls’ SHS finished with 28 and 26 points, respectively.
St. Peter’s SHS is now set for the Quarter-final Stage, continuing their journey in the prestigious competition.
