Summertime Kwabillna Ampong, an aspirant for the position of Constituency Treasurer in Ablekuma North, says he has fulfilled a GH₵5,000 seed-money commitment to the Nyamekye Ward.
According to campaign information provided to GhanaMedia.net, the presentation was made on August 21, 2026, following an engagement with executives and members of the ward.
Ampong’s Nyamekye Ward Commitment
The campaign says the GH₵5,000 commitment forms part of Mr. Ampong’s proposed approach to welfare support within the constituency. He is seeking to establish what he describes as a structured and transparent welfare system covering all 14 electoral areas in Ablekuma North.
According to the statement, the initiative is intended to place greater emphasis on documentation, accountability and responsible management of welfare resources.
“Nyamekye is not just another ward – it is home. And there is no better place to begin a journey of service than home,” Mr. Ampong is quoted as saying.

The Electoral College election was won by Nene Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, while Mr. Ampong received one vote.
