Ghana’s Black Stars coach Otto Addo has expressed optimism about his team’s readiness ahead of their decisive Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola today. The team must secure a win in Luanda to keep their hopes alive for the tournament in Morocco.
Despite currently sitting at the bottom of Group F, Addo believes his players are mentally prepared for the challenge.
“I know Angola will be 100% ready. It’s going to be tight, but mentally, my boys are prepared. This is a great opportunity to turn things around,” he said at a pre-match press conference.
With Angola already qualified, Ghana needs victories against Angola and Niger while hoping Sudan loses to Angola in their final game to progress.
