Wave Africa has finally released a statement addressing the issues surround surrounding the cancellation of Shatta Wale’s performance at the Reunion Rave artist night at James Top Nelson Yankah Hall within the University of Ghana.
In the statement they explain that the agency was conducted two man’s priority by the executives of the hall to organize the event .
After two months of deliberation a formal contract was signed on June 5th 2024.
Despite all these assurances, which are all in the press statement below, or on June 8th during setup and sound check, campus security intervened citing an order from above to ban Shatta Wale’s performance.
