Update: Lilwin appears in court – Lawyer speaks (video)

Actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin appeared in court today for the second time regarding the tragic accident that claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy.

The Asokore Mampong District Court heard from police prosecutors that they are still awaiting guidance from the Attorney General’s Office concerning the case.

Lilwin, who was arrested on June 3, 2024, was granted bail set at GH¢50,000 with two sureties.

The accident, involving a vehicle driven by Lilwin, resulted in the fatality of the young boy, prompting the boy’s family to demand justice. The police cited Lilwin’s health condition as the reason for the delay in his arrest.

Prosecutors have forwarded the case docket to the Attorney General’s Office and are awaiting further instructions.

Lilwin’s lawyer, Nana Bonsu Kyeretwie, stated that the advice from the Attorney General’s Office will determine their subsequent actions in this matter.
