Her statement came after numerous social media users questioned whether she would remain in the relationship following his extradition.
According to U.S. authorities, Abu Trica, whose real name is Frederick Kumi, was extradited from Ghana to face charges connected to an alleged romance fraud scheme. Prosecutors allege he was part of a criminal network accused of defrauding elderly victims across the United States of more than $8 million. Abu Trica has been charged, but the allegations remain to be tested in court, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Despite the serious allegations, Abena Queen insisted that public opinion would not influence her decision. She said she would continue to support her partner and rejected claims that she would leave him because of the case.
