Comedian Kwaku Manu, aka Bob Ziga, has sounded a wake-up call to Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer and current Vice President, urging him to recalibrate his priorities.
On UTV Showbiz, Kwaku Manu bluntly stated that the Vice President’s credit-based phone purchase plan is a misplaced priority, given the country’s pressing need for employment opportunities.
He argued that in developed nations, credit facilities are extended to individuals with a proven track record of financial responsibility, not the unemployed.
With Ghana’s staggering unemployment rate, Kwaku Manu emphasized that the focus should be on creating jobs to alleviate the burden on employed individuals’ salaries.
He implored Dr. Bawumia to put the cart before the horse and address the employment crisis before introducing credit schemes.”
