Ghanaian entertainer Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, has achieved a significant milestone with his latest film, “A Country Called Ghana.

Ghanaian entertainer Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, has achieved a significant milestone with his latest film, “A Country Called Ghana,” which has been nominated for the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany.

The film, directed by Frank Fiifi Ghabin and executive produced by Lil Win, is a collaborative effort featuring actors from both Ghana and Nigeria, including notable stars such as Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu (‘Awilo Sharp Sharp’), Paa George, and Sweet Mimi.

“A Country Called Ghana” emphasizes the importance of cultural preservation and heritage, aiming to secure a place on Netflix for global recognition. The film’s nomination and forthcoming screening at the Nollywood Film Festival highlight its success and the impact it aims to make.

The Nollywood Film Festival/NEGA Awards Germany is an annual event dedicated to showcasing the best of Nollywood films to German audiences. It also serves as a platform to promote global trade and collaboration within the burgeoning film industry.

This year’s event is scheduled for August 3, 2024, and will take place at GOETHE University’s Purple Cinema, located at Mertonstr 26-28 in Frankfurt AM Main, Germany.
