The second-cycle school graduate believes that equipping women with practical vocational skills is one of the most effective ways of building confident leaders capable of transforming their communities.

According to Jemima, true beauty extends beyond physical appearance and is reflected in confidence, purpose and the positive impact an individual makes in society.

“As a beautician and entrepreneur, I learnt early that beauty is more than what’s on the surface; it’s the confidence you walk with.”

She explained that years of helping women build confidence through beauty and self-care inspired her to expand her vision by promoting initiatives that empower women with vocational and entrepreneurial skills.

“My advocacy is centred on women empowerment by equipping women with skills to become change-makers. Skills give confidence, confidence builds leaders, and leaders change communities.”

Jemima said life’s challenges have strengthened her resilience and prepared her to use the Miss Galaxy Ghana platform to inspire young women to believe in themselves and pursue opportunities that improve both their own lives and their communities.

She has appealed to Ghanaians to support her campaign by voting in the ongoing competition. Supporters can vote by dialling 365303#, entering contestant code MG3, and following the prompts.

This year’s Miss Galaxy Ghana competition continues to position itself as more than a beauty pageant by providing contestants with a platform to promote social causes, leadership, entrepreneurship and community development.

Jemima believes winning the crown would provide her with an even bigger platform to inspire more women to acquire employable skills, embrace entrepreneurship and become agents of positive transformation.
