Cape Town Tech Entrepreneur Don Ndikberry Releases 28-Track Amapiano Album Built With His Own Music Software
CAPE TOWN, 7 SEPTEMBER 2026 — By day, Don Ndikberry (Luvuyo Ndiki) runs a technology and manufacturing operation built around 3D printing in the Western Cape. By night — and during breaks between production runs — he has been building a parallel career in music.
That journey has culminated in INKQUBO, a 28-track Amapiano album released on 14 August 2026 through RCV Records and now available across major music platforms.
The isiXhosa title, meaning “the process,” reflects the story behind the project. According to Ndikberry, limited access to studio time and traditional music-industry infrastructure pushed him to develop his own production workflow, including his own music software, Umoya Studio, alongside intelligent production tools available on the market.
From 3D Printing to Music Production
Ndikberry says the album was developed over approximately three years, with many of the songs created during breaks from his manufacturing work.
Rather than waiting for access to conventional industry infrastructure, he built the tools and workflow required to write, produce and complete the project independently.

Building Tools for African Artists
The INKQUBO project is also positioned as part of a wider technology ambition.
Ndikberry says Umoya Studio is currently in internal beta, with plans to partially open-source the software so artists across Africa can access tools for recording, marketing and releasing music under their own control.
His longer-term vision includes creating a large co-marketing community where African artists can promote one another’s music and participate in the income generated by the ecosystem.
The same philosophy extends to his technology initiatives, including the 3pV app and 3PV Labs, which focus on manufacturing, innovation and entrepreneurship.
A Cross-Continental Amapiano Sound
INKQUBO moves across isiZulu, isiXhosa, English and Yorùbá, bringing together collaborators from South Africa and West Africa.
The album features Vuyorido, Annarido, Amish, Mamjwarha, Bhelekazi, JAGZ, MOYX, NEKK and Lagos collective ỌRÙN MOB.
It follows Ndikberry’s earlier collaborations with Nigerian rapper Ice Prince and Zen Bhele, further reflecting his interest in connecting South African and West African music scenes.
Standout Tracks
Among the tracks highlighted from the 28-song project are the opening track Ngiyeza (“I’m Coming”), Wajonge Zantsi, Soul City, Ndicela uPhila Nawe, the cross-continental collaboration Ọ̀GÁ MI and the closing track Bring Azaina, My Children.
For Ndikberry, the project is intended to reach beyond established Amapiano audiences.

About Don Ndikberry
Don Ndikberry, also known as Luvuyo Ndiki, is a Cape Town-based Amapiano executive producer, songwriter, engineer and technology entrepreneur.
He is described as the founder of the Ubuntu Wave movement, which blends Amapiano with Xhosa and Zulu storytelling. He has previously released music with Ice Prince and Zen Bhele and says much of his catalogue is written in isiXhosa and isiZulu.
Outside music, Ndikberry is involved in 3D printing and technology entrepreneurship. He founded 3D Printing Village and 3PV Labs and established the Red Cup Village movement in 2012, an initiative centred on bringing communities together through pop culture.
