Adentan Circuit Court Sets Two Sureties for Evans Eshun
The Adentan Circuit Court has granted GHC100,000 bail to content creator and self-acclaimed prophet Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, as proceedings in his case continue.
The court granted bail with two sureties, one of whom is required to be justified. The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing.
Ebo Noah was earlier remanded into police custody following the adjournment of proceedings, during which the court ordered that he undergo a psychiatric evaluation at the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital before his next appearance.
Background of the Case
Evans Eshun has been standing trial over issues that have drawn widespread public attention, largely due to his controversial social media content and self-proclaimed prophetic claims.

During previous sittings, the court deemed it necessary to remand the accused while awaiting the outcome of psychiatric assessments to determine his mental fitness to stand trial.
Bail Conditions
In granting bail, the court set the amount at GHC100,000, with two sureties expected to guarantee his appearance at subsequent court dates. Failure to meet the bail conditions would result in the accused remaining in custody.
Legal observers note that the granting of bail does not affect the substance of the case, which will proceed when the court reconvenes.
Next Court Date
The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, when the court is expected to continue proceedings after reviewing all necessary reports and submissions from both the prosecution and the defence.
The matter continues to generate significant public interest, particularly among social media users, as developments unfold.
