Ghanaian authorities have issued a strong warning regarding a doomsday prophecy attributed to self-styled prophet Ebo Noah. According to officials, should the prophecy fail to materialize after the stated date, he may face arrest on grounds of causing fear and panic among the public.

Officials further explained that under existing regulations governing religious and prophetic declarations, any prophecy with potential national security, social stability, or public safety implications must be formally submitted to the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations for review and authorization.

Failure to follow this process, authorities say, constitutes an offense. The directive is intended to curb misinformation, prevent mass panic, and promote responsible religious expression in Ghana’s multi-faith society.

As of now, Ebo Noah has not publicly confirmed whether he sought the required authorization. Authorities say they are monitoring the situation closely and will act in accordance with the law.
