Old Business Interview Re-emerges After Fatal Police Operation
An old video interview of Eric Duku, husband of Kumawood actress Patricia, has resurfaced on social media following his death during a police shootout. In the interview, Duku detailed how he abandoned a fuel transportation venture in Burkina Faso — which he admitted was illegal — and returned to Ghana to establish a poultry enterprise known as ‘Antwi Duku Farms’. According to him, the business was launched in 2020 with an initial stock of 5,000 birds, with financial assistance from his brother abroad and other family members. The interviewer expressed surprise at the scale of the startup, given Duku’s admission that raising capital had been difficult.
Police Link Him to Armed Robbery Syndicate
Reports emerging last week indicated that Duku was allegedly the leader of an armed robbery network responsible for multiple attacks, including carjackings. Authorities say the group’s most recent operation allegedly resulted in the death of the father-in-law of prominent political communicator Sammy Gyamfi.
