In a shocking revelation, popular Ghanaian dance performer Champion Rollie has informed the public on how things were not easy when he begun his journey as a dancer.
According to the Roland Frimpong Nyarko, dance is something that he would advice young ones to take up as a career.
However in an exclusive interview with Anita Akua Akuffo, the dancer revealed how he used to receive fifty cedis as payment when he started out as am emerging dancer.
Rollie afterwards explained that by the grace of God, he has signed bigger contracts and is now living his best life.
Every year seems to be a good one for Black Star footballer Mohammed Kudus. This year however seems to be no exception as the player signs an ambassadorial deal with famous American footwear company “Sketchers”.
In thier latest commercial which was posted on thier official Instagram page, Kudus was seen doing his thing as usual in the ad.

Quite interestingly, his prophecy was that serious and profound! Ghana for the first time in foot all history reached the quarterfinals of CAN 2006 in South Africa! If not for Saurez’ deliberate hand foul, Ghana would have extended to the semifinals and probably who knows to the finals and then win the cup.

Ghanaian social media sensation Firdaus Iddrisu, popularly known as Shatta Bandle, has issued a public apology following a controversial incident where he was seen spraying Naira notes at an event in Lagos.
The incident occurred during his recent trip to Nigeria for the funeral of the famous actor Mr. Ibu on June 28. A viral video captured Shatta Bandle generously spraying Naira notes, an act that quickly drew the attention of the Nigerian public and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Nigeria maintains strict regulations against the abuse of its currency, and Shatta Bandle’s actions have become a focal point due to these laws. Earlier this year, Nigerian celebrity Bobrisky faced similar scrutiny and was arrested by the EFCC for spraying cash at a movie premiere, charged with currency mutilation and abuse.
In his apology, Shatta Bandle expressed deep remorse, explaining that his actions were not intended to disrespect Nigerian laws. He clarified that he initially started spraying dollars but switched to Naira when the dollars ran out. “I respect the EFCC and Nigerian laws. Nigeria is my second home. I apologize to everyone, especially the EFCC, for what I have done,” he stated.
The Naira mutilation law stipulates that anyone convicted of abusing the currency or tampering with coins or notes faces a minimum imprisonment of six months or a fine of at least N50,000 (approximately US$37), or both.
Born Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, Bobrisky was convicted (6 months in jail) without the option of a fine, emphasizing the gravity of the offense. The judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro, highlighted the importance of upholding the integrity of the Naira and ensuring compliance with the law to prevent further damage to the currency.

Reggae icon Luciano has raised concerns about Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy’s use of patois in his music. In a recent interview, Luciano mentioned that while many African artists are adopting Jamaican styles, their attempts often miss the mark.
Luciano observed that these artists strive to incorporate Jamaican influences, but their efforts lack genuine authenticity and clarity.
When discussing the differences between African and Jamaican music styles, Luciano emphasized that some African musicians’ imitations fail to capture the true essence of Jamaican music.
Using Stonebwoy as an example, Luciano noted that despite Stonebwoy’s efforts to use patois, it remains unintelligible to native Jamaicans.
Luciano remarked that only God understands what Stonebwoy is trying to express, highlighting the gap between the intended Jamaican influence and its actual execution.
