Ghanaian TikTok Star Osanju Reportedly Dies at 25

Kumasi / Accra, Ghana — Monday, September 1, 2025 — Elvis Frimpong, better known online as Osanju, the popular TikToker from Kumasi, has reportedly passed away overnight on Sunday, August 31 to Monday, September 1, 2025. Reports indicate he died in his sleep shortly after watching Barcelona’s match that ended in a draw.

This news comes just five months after the funeral of his mother, Veronica Frimpong (“Amonu”), who passed away in January 2025. Her funeral was held in March 2025. Osanju was 25 years old.
