According to him, the family had agreed that the chosen successor would only be announced after the completion of the late leader’s final burial rites. He alleged that their brother, Akofena, acted before the agreed time and had himself coronated as the church’s leader.

Addressing the recent shooting incident involving former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo, Safo Kantanka Jnr insisted that she did not fire any shots. He further claimed that investigators found more than 30 bullet holes or impacts on her vehicle, suggesting she was the target rather than the aggressor.
