PSV officially unveiled Marfo after completing her transfer from Danish side FC Nordsjælland. She becomes one of the latest Ghanaian talents to continue the country’s rich football legacy in the Netherlands, following in the footsteps of several Black Stars and Black Queens players.

Speaking after signing her contract, Marfo said she had followed Dutch football for years and believes PSV’s attacking style perfectly suits her strengths. She also praised the warm welcome she has received from the club and expressed excitement about beginning pre-season with her new teammates.

Technical Manager Marco Knirsch described the Ghanaian forward as a fighter who brings energy, versatility and a winning mentality to the squad. Marfo is capable of playing across the front line as both a winger and centre-forward, giving PSV additional attacking options for the new season.

Marfo’s football journey started at Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, where she became the academy’s first female graduate to reach the professional level. After impressing at FC Nordsjælland and gaining experience in the United States with Bay FC, she has now secured one of the biggest transfers of her career.

Her move represents another proud moment for Ghanaian women’s football and serves as inspiration for young girls dreaming of playing professionally in Europe. Fans will be eager to see the Black Queens attacker make her mark in the Eredivisie Women with one of the Netherlands’ biggest clubs.
