Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle, shared insights into her unique romantic experiences from her school years during an interview with Bola Ray on GH One’s Star Chat.
Reflecting on her time at Wesley Girls’ Senior High School, she explained why she didn’t engage in dating while there.
As the daughter of the late President Jerry John Rawlings, Zanetor credited the school’s strict disciplinary environment for her lack of romantic involvement.
Wesley Girls’ stringent rules significantly limited interactions with students from other institutions, and she never received a romantic proposal during her three years at the school. She emphasized that her primary focus was on academics, a priority shared by many of her classmates.
The structured environment at Wesley Girls contributed to minimizing social interactions with male students.
Zanetor also pointed out that visiting days were strictly regulated, with visitors required to register their details and specify the students they intended to visit. Senior students supervised this process, ensuring that unauthorized interactions were avoided.
