Arrest and allegations

Kpa was arrested by the Ghana Police Service’s Documentation and Visa Fraud Unit following allegations that he collected money from several individuals after promising to facilitate travel arrangements to countries including Canada, the United States and Nicaragua.

According to court-related reports, the allegations involve more than US$30,000 from over 13 people. A separate allegation involving another reported amount has also emerged.

The police reportedly arrested Kpa in East Legon, Accra, on August 24, 2026, after complaints were made concerning the alleged transactions.
