CashToken Rewards Africa has issued a fraud alert to the public in Ghana, warning against fraudulent websites, WhatsApp and Telegram groups, and individuals using the company’s name and identity to allegedly defraud unsuspecting people.

The company says it does not currently operate in Ghana and has no authorised business, representatives, agents or partners operating on its behalf in the country.
CashToken Warns Against Fake Platforms
According to the company’s warning, individuals have been using variations of the CashToken name and identity to create websites and messaging groups through which members of the public are allegedly encouraged to make payments or provide personal and financial information.
CashToken Rewards Africa says it has no connection whatsoever with these activities and has become aware that some fraudulent websites previously used by perpetrators have been taken down, while new versions have subsequently appeared.
The company identified cashhtoken.com and cashtokken.com among fraudulent variations that have surfaced and warned that additional variations could appear.
Public Urged Not to Send Money or Sensitive Information
CashToken Rewards Africa is urging people in Ghana to disregard any communication, website, WhatsApp group or individual claiming to represent the company or offer CashToken-related opportunities in Ghana.
The public has also been advised not to make payments or disclose banking information, account details, PINs or other sensitive personal information to anyone claiming to act for CashToken Rewards Africa.
The warning comes amid broader concerns over online impersonation and phishing scams. Ghana’s Cyber Security Authority has separately warned about fraudulent online business impersonation schemes in which criminals use fake business profiles and contact channels to obtain money or sensitive information.
The FBI similarly warns that scammers can manipulate website addresses and other identifiers to make fake platforms appear connected to trusted businesses.
The Federal Trade Commission also advises consumers to be cautious of links and websites designed to steal money or personal information.
CashToken Identifies Its Official Channels
CashToken Rewards Africa says its official website is cashtokenrewards.com and that its official social media handle is @cashtokenhq.
The company is encouraging anyone who encounters suspected fraudulent activity to preserve evidence, including website addresses, telephone numbers, WhatsApp messages and payment information, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
GhanaMedia.net has previously reported on alleged financial fraud cases, including a lawyer charged with allegedly defrauding a US-based nurse and developments surrounding fraud and financial misconduct allegations involving Agradaa.

CashToken: No Authorised Representative in Ghana
CashToken Rewards Africa’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chinaenyenwa Nwokedi, said nobody in Ghana is authorised to speak for the company because it does not operate in the Ghanaian market.
The company says it is pursuing takedowns of fraudulent platforms and working with relevant authorities while urging members of the public to verify claims through its official channels before releasing money or personal information.
GhanaMedia.net has verified the warning and the company’s position that it does not currently operate in Ghana.
