Nora, who competes against older students in multiple track and field events, has shown fearlessness, speed and competitive spirit that belie her young age, quickly becoming a fan favourite at the stadium and across social media.

The Inter‑College Sports Festival, one of Ghana’s most celebrated school sports events, brings together talented athletes from Senior High Schools across the country to compete in athletics, football, relay races, long jump, and other disciplines. Nora’s impact this year has been immediate — not only because of her age but also because of her exceptional athletic ability and discipline.

Students and spectators have taken to social platforms to share clips and photos of Nora’s performances, with many calling her a future national star. Her coaches at Adventist SHS praise her natural agility, competitive mindset, and humility, noting that she trains hard and supports her teammates passionately.

“She may be young, but Nora runs like she’s been training for years,” one teacher said. “She inspires her schoolmates and reminds us all that age is just a number when talent meets hard work.”

The Adventist SHS community has rallied behind Nora, celebrating her achievements and encouraging her as she continues in the competition. Her family has also expressed pride, stressing that her participation represents not just athletic talent but the power of youthful ambition and school spirit.

As the Interco festivities continue, all eyes are on this 12‑year‑old powerhouse — a reminder that Ghana’s next generation of sporting heroes is already rising.
