Gospel musician Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong has extended an olive branch, seeking forgiveness after a prolonged feud with veteran Highlife artist Daddy Lumba.
The conflict began in 2015 following the launch of their collaborative album ‘Hosanna.’ Ampong accused Lumba of absconding with the proceeds from the album launch, alleging that Lumba evaded giving him his agreed-upon share of the earnings.
The two had supposedly agreed to split the profits 60/40.
Years later, in a video spotted by Ghanamedia.net, Ampong has announced that he has forgiven Daddy Lumba.
Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong made this statement in the United States during his ordination as a Reverend Minister by Bishop Adonteng Boateng at the bishop’s church.
Following his ordination, Bishop Adonteng Boateng encouraged Ampong to seek forgiveness from anyone he had wronged.
Ampong, after expressing his forgiveness towards Daddy Lumba, also asked for Lumba’s forgiveness.
He acknowledged that people often say hurtful things in anger, but emphasized that he has forgiven Daddy Lumba for everything that happened since 2015.
