The surviving victims of the brutal Burkina Faso attack on Ghanaian tomato traders have been successfully airlifted back to Ghana to receive urgent medical care.
The survivors, some of whom sustained gunshot wounds and severe burns during the horrific assault in Titao, are now under medical supervision as authorities intensify efforts to support affected families.
A Painful Return Home
The attack, which has been linked to [Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin](chatgpt://generic-entity?number=0) (JNIM), left more than 15 Ghanaians dead. The survivors’ evacuation marks a critical step in Ghana’s response to the tragedy.
