Accra — The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) and the Ghana Police Service have arrested self-styled international marriage counsellor Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Conduah for alleged offences relating to child sexual abuse material under the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038). Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, confirmed the arrest via social media.
Conduah was apprehended on March 6, 2026, shortly before Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebrations. He is accused of sexually abusing a 17-year-old over approximately four years and producing recordings that were allegedly shared on international adult websites.

Investigators allege that the offences breach Sections 62 and 63 of the Cybersecurity Act, which criminalise creation, possession, and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The CSA’s digital forensic team reportedly uncovered recordings and online posts central to the ongoing investigation.
Conduah, known for presenting himself as a radio-based marriage counsellor with international reach, was arraigned in court on March 8, 2026 and remanded for three weeks to facilitate continued investigations.
Minister George praised the CSA and police for their diligence, emphasizing that Ghana’s cyber laws apply universally: “If you break our cyber laws, we will find you and hold you accountable, no matter who you are.”
