A major joint security operation in Sampa Township has resulted in the arrest of 24 suspects and the seizure of multiple weapons, as authorities intensify efforts to combat crime and restore public safety in the Bono Region.

- Five pump-action guns
- One Baikal gun
- Two locally manufactured firearms
- 790 rounds of AAA and BB cartridges
- One AK-47 round of ammunition
- Machetes, bayonets, and clubs
- Military jackets and body armour
- Mobile phones and motorbikes
- A stamp and talismans

Suspects in Custody, Investigations Ongoing
The 24 suspects arrested range in age from 13 to 78 years, reflecting a wide demographic allegedly involved in unlawful activities. Police confirmed that two individuals were specifically arrested for breaching curfew regulations.
