A devastating road accident has claimed the life of a young man identified as Emmanuel Tettey Nartey, popularly known as “Abuja,” following a fatal collision on Saturday evening along the Odumase–Asesewa highway.

The incident, which occurred near Ayermasu in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, involved a tipper truck, a Rhino truck, and a motorbike, raising fresh concerns about road safety across Ghana’s busy highways.

Details of the Crash
According to initial reports, the collision was severe, leaving multiple victims with critical injuries and causing panic among residents in the area. Emergency responders quickly transported the injured to St. Martin de Porres Catholic Hospital in Agormanya for urgent medical care.
Four individuals who sustained varying degrees of injuries are currently receiving treatment, with medical staff working intensively to stabilize their conditions.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary.
