The accident reportedly claimed the lives of several UNICROSS students, including the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Director of Sports, Comrade Solomon Nya. Reports indicate the fatal crash occurred around Odukpani on the outskirts of Calabar, leaving multiple others severely injured.

The emotional clip, now circulating widely across Facebook and Instagram, allegedly captured the students in happy moments shortly before the journey turned tragic. Social media users have since flooded the posts with tributes, prayers, and messages of grief over the sudden deaths.
