Karma President Accuses Ajaguraja of Threatening Ghanaian Youth with Curses and Intimidation

Claims Spark Online Debate as Calls for Accountability and Right of Reply Emerge

A fresh wave of controversy has erupted on social media after popular commentator Karma President accused spiritual figure Ajaguraja of becoming a negative influence on Ghanaian youth through what he described as a pattern of curses, intimidation, and suppression.

In a video circulating online, Karma President alleged that Ajaguraja frequently resorts to spiritual threats whenever he feels challenged or disrespected, warning that such behaviour promotes fear rather than guidance among young people. According to him, the repeated use of curses as a response to minor disagreements poses a danger to impressionable audiences who may begin to normalize intimidation in the name of spirituality.

Karma President went further to link Ajaguraja’s conduct to his family background. He claimed that Ajaguraja’s father, identified as Abednego, was notorious in the 1980s and 1990s for similar behaviour, including allegedly impregnating multiple women, issuing curses against perceived enemies, and creating tension within his community. Karma President asserted that these actions eventually led to Abednego being banished by local youth, after which he was “never heard of again.”

Drawing a parallel, Karma President alleged that Ajaguraja is now repeating what he described as his father’s past mistakes, accusing him of bullying critics, placing curses on young people, and engaging in other vices. He further claimed that Ajaguraja’s recent actions may be driven by a belief that his “end is near,” though he provided no evidence to support this assertion.

In a bold challenge during the video, Karma President invited Ajaguraja’s mother to publicly dispute his claims if they were untrue, insisting that he was prepared to stand by his statements.

As of the time of filing this report, Ajaguraja and his family have not responded to the allegations. Ghana Media notes that these claims remain unverified and encourages all parties mentioned to exercise restraint and use lawful channels to address disputes.

Ghana Media will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates should Ajaguraja or his mother issue a response.
