Belgium-born tactician Tom Saintfiet has expressed strong interest in taking charge of Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, once his current contract with Mali comes to an end.
Saintfiet, who has built a reputation across Africa with his tactical expertise and ability to manage diverse squads, confirmed that Ghana remains one of the national teams he admires deeply. According to him, leading the Black Stars would be a career highlight given the nation’s football history and immense talent pool.
“I have great respect for Ghana and its football tradition. When my contract with Mali expires, I would gladly consider the Black Stars job if the opportunity comes,” Saintfiet reportedly stated.
The coach has previously managed national teams such as The Gambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Togo, earning recognition for his ability to transform squads into competitive sides.
