Haruna Iddrisu is a prominent Ghanaian politician, lawyer and Member of Parliament for Tamale South. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures within the National Democratic Congress.

Parliamentary Career
Iddrisu has served in Parliament since 2005 and has held several high-level ministerial positions in Ghana’s government.

Leadership Roles
Between 2017 and 2023 he served as Minority Leader in Parliament, leading the opposition caucus and playing a major role in national policy debates.
Ministerial Positions
Throughout his career he has served as Minister for Communications, Trade and Industry, and Employment and Labour Relations.
He currently plays a key role in education policy discussions.
