A tragic incident has reportedly occurred in Babile in Ghana’s Upper West Region, where a 20-year-old young man popularly known as Kukura allegedly lost his life after swallowing 10 tablets of Tramadol during a competition with friends.
According to information circulating on social media, the young man reportedly died at the scene shortly after taking the tablets. Independent official confirmation of the exact circumstances surrounding the incident was not immediately available at the time of publication.
The incident has sparked widespread concern over the growing abuse of Tramadol and other prescription drugs among young people.
