Today, we remember Joe Blankson, a man whose courage knew no limits and whose selflessness cost him his life. In 2018, a tragic boat accident in Rivers State, Nigeria, left 25 people struggling for survival. Without hesitation, Joe dived in—13 times—rescuing 13 lives from the deadly waters.
Tragically, on his 14th attempt, he drowned while trying to save yet another person. Joe’s heroism reminds the world of the extraordinary impact one life can have when guided by bravery and compassion.
