Ghanaian disc jockey and youth icon DJ Switch, born Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh, has successfully graduated from Chaminade College Preparatory in Los Angeles, California, adding another remarkable achievement to an already inspiring journey. Born on December 12, 2007, in Dadieso and raised in Weija, Accra, DJ Switch is the second child and only daughter among five siblings. She is the daughter of Eric Theophilus Tandoh and Lilian Oduro Mensah. Her educational journey began at Talented Royals International School before she completed international preparatory studies through British Columbia College and later relocated to the United States in 2022.

From Talented Kidz Champion to Global Inspiration
DJ Switch first captured national attention when she won TV3’s Talented Kidz competition at just nine years old. Her rise was extraordinary. Having learned professional DJ skills in only five days before auditioning, she impressed audiences across Ghana with her confidence, talent, and charisma.
The stage name “DJ Switch” was inspired by her ability to switch moods and energy levels through music, a talent that quickly made her one of Ghana’s most recognized young entertainers.
International Recognition at a Young Age
Following her breakthrough success, DJ Switch’s career expanded rapidly beyond Ghana’s borders. In June 2018, she became the youngest recipient of the Ghana DJ Awards. The same year, she opened the annual Goalkeepers event organized by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in New York, performing before global leaders and dignitaries.
Her growing international reputation led to another historic appearance when she performed at the 32nd Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government in February 2019.

Beyond entertainment, DJ Switch has consistently demonstrated a commitment to education and social impact. In October 2019, she donated 50 desks and classroom furniture to A.M.E. Zion Junior High School at Brafoyaw in Cape Coast, helping improve learning conditions for students.
