DORiSA Consult is set to be officially launched alongside the maiden edition of its Business Advocacy Forum and Counselling Series, an initiative designed to help businesses navigate uncertainty, strengthen organisational capacity and achieve sustainable growth.

The inaugural forum will be held under the theme “Positioning Businesses for Sustainable Growth” and is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The virtual event will take place via Google Meet, with interested participants able to join through the official Google Meet link.

Why DORiSA Consult?
The establishment of DORiSA Consult comes at a time when businesses are facing increasing volatility, regulatory changes, technological disruption and growing pressure to build long-term resilience.
The consultancy is founded on the belief that academic knowledge becomes more valuable when deliberately translated into practical solutions for organisations, entrepreneurs and professionals.
Through its consultancy, advocacy and counselling activities, DORiSA Consult seeks to create a platform where research, professional experience and real-world business challenges can come together to support meaningful organisational transformation.
Dr Doris Aryee leads the initiative
At the centre of DORiSA Consult is its Founder, Dr. Doris Aryee, a management professional and academic whose career has spanned education, administration, counselling, organisational development and professional practice.
Dr. Aryee has been associated with Pentecost University and has held professional and administrative responsibilities within the university and related institutions. Public professional records also document her doctoral studies and work in areas connected to business administration, leadership, counselling and organisational development.
Her professional interests include Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Strategic Leadership, Operations and Performance Management, Entrepreneurship, Counselling and Management Consultancy.
With more than two decades of professional experience, Dr. Aryee’s vision is to use the consultancy as a vehicle for helping individuals and organisations improve performance, solve problems and build sustainable results.
Bridging academia and industry
A central objective of DORiSA Consult is to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice.
The consultancy aims to create an environment where evidence-based knowledge can inform business decisions while practical industry experience can also contribute to stronger approaches to research, management and organisational development.
This approach is particularly relevant for entrepreneurs and organisations operating in an increasingly complex economic environment, where traditional strategies may not always be sufficient to address rapidly changing market conditions.
Business Advocacy Forum and Counselling Series
The maiden Business Advocacy Forum and Counselling Series is designed to go beyond a ceremonial launch. It will provide a platform for entrepreneurs, policymakers, professionals and industry leaders to examine the structures, strategies and mindsets required for businesses to move beyond short-term survival and build lasting value.
The monthly series is expected to combine expert dialogue, strategic advocacy and case-based counselling to address practical challenges confronting businesses and professionals.
Professional community welcomes initiative
According to a message of support included in the launch material, Dr. Paul Apreku Gyan, a Senior Lecturer at Koforidua Technical University and an Adjunct Lecturer at Pentecost University, commended the initiative as an important step towards translating knowledge and professional experience into practical solutions for businesses and entrepreneurs.
He described the establishment of DORiSA Consult as an example of the connection between academic knowledge and industry practice and expressed confidence that the consultancy could contribute meaningfully to business development, strategic thinking and organisational transformation.
Focus on sustainable enterprise
DORiSA Consult says its broader objective is to position businesses not simply to survive difficult economic conditions but to develop the capacity to adapt, innovate and achieve sustainable growth.
The consultancy’s launch therefore represents an attempt to create a structured platform for businesses and professionals seeking practical guidance, strategic thinking and stronger organisational performance.
