Six men suspected of impersonating military personnel have reportedly been arrested during an operation at an illegal mining site near Kotokoum in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.

According to information circulating online, the suspects were allegedly found in possession of firearms, ammunition, military uniforms, body armour, handcuffs, tasers and other security equipment believed to have been used to impersonate genuine security officers.
