The controversy erupted on Sunday, June 21, after reports surfaced that Adwoa Safo had allegedly been injured during a shooting incident near the venue. However, a lawyer for the Kristo Asafo Mission has provided a different account of what transpired.

Lawyer Claims Vehicle Was Used To Force Entry
Speaking on JoyNews, Kristo Asafo lawyer Nana Kofi Kantanka alleged that Adwoa Safo attempted to gain access to the premises by driving into the southern gate. According to him, after failing to gain entry, she allegedly moved to another entrance and repeated the action.
He further claimed that private security personnel fired warning shots because they believed lives were at risk due to the large gathering at the ceremony.
