A video circulating across social media has sparked intense discussion after allegedly showing a young female Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidate involved in explicit acts. The footage, which has rapidly spread on Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp, has prompted mixed reactions from Ghanaians.

The individual in the video is widely claimed online to be a 14-year-old student who recently sat for the BECE. Social media posts accompanying the videos contain several allegations regarding the student’s private life. At the time of publication, no official statement from the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Ministry of Education or law enforcement has confirmed these claims.
