A young Ghanaian man identified as Opong, also known as Pone, has opened up about the choices that led to his deportation from Germany in 2025, offering a cautionary tale to many young migrants pursuing opportunities abroad.

According to his account during an interview in Ghana, Opong admitted that his time in Germany started with promise. He had command of the German language, possessed valid residence documents, and had begun integrating into society.
