Akosua Vee: My husband (A-Plus) hasn’t been involved in any scandalous extra marital affair

Akosua Vee, wife of musician cum politician, A Plus has jumped to the defence of her husband refuting claims of an alleged affair with an entertainment pundit.

In a detailed social media post on her Instagram page, Akosua Vee claimed that neither herself nor her husband has any knowledge about a baby mama as being suggested.

According to the Ghanaian fashion stylist, even if her “responsible” husband were to engage in such activities resulting in the birth of a child, it would be a private family matter, not for public consumption.

She urged the public to treat the allegations against her husband as “baseless speculation.”

“I can state with the utmost certainty that my marriage and family are in excellent standing. I have not met any ‘baby mama’ nor has my husband been involved in any alleged scandalous extra marital affair. Any such rumors should be summarily dismissed as baseless speculation.

“Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that I’m married to a responsible man and no amount of attempt to tarnish his reputation and that of his family will hold,” she wrote on Instagram.

She continued: “Let me also confirm that I am currently residing outside of the country, rendering the alleged “family sittings” to be a complete fabrication.”

“And should my esteemed spouse have engaged in any extramarital entanglements resulting in the birth of a child, that would have been our business and nobody else’,” Akosua Vee added.

Her clarification follows allegations by socialite, Afia Schwarzenegger who claimed that A Plus had been involved in an affair with a entertainment pundit, MC Yaa Yeboah.

Afia Schwarzenegger after an argument with MC Yaa Yeboah on the United Showbiz show took to social media and made the allegations against MC Yaa Yeboah and A Plus while criticising MC Yaa Yeboah for her remarks against Ghanaian celebrities.

Nico Williams: Second player of Ghanaian descent to win the European Cup

Nico Williams made history by becoming the second player of Ghanaian heritage to secure a Euro Championship victory, scoring a crucial goal in Spain’s thrilling 2-1 triumph over England on Sunday.

Following in the footsteps of his elder brother Inaki, a Ghanaian international, Williams now joins Marcel Desailly in the exclusive club of players of Ghanaian descent who have claimed the Euro title. Previously, Desailly stood alone as the sole footballer of Ghanaian heritage to lift the European Championship trophy.

Williams, who displayed exceptional talent throughout Euro 2024, played a pivotal role in Spain’s journey to their record fourth title. His standout moment came early in the second half of the final, when he capitalised on Lamine Yamal’s precise pass to score a powerful low shot past England’s goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford.

Despite a composed equaliser from Chelsea’s Cole Palmer in the 73rd minute, Spain clinched the victory with Oyarzabal’s decisive goal four minutes from time, sealing England’s fate and denying them another shot at the title.

Had England emerged victorious, Kobbie Mainoo, also of Ghanaian descent, would have joined the ranks of Desailly as a Euro champion.
