Properties Reduced to Ashes
Images from the scene show the tanker completely burnt and overturned, while several metal container shops and surrounding structures were reduced to twisted wreckage. A residential property and a printing press were among the facilities destroyed by the inferno.

Emergency responders and personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to additional buildings. Residents also assisted in efforts to salvage belongings from nearby structures.
