Ghana’s mixed 4x100m freestyle relay team produced a spirited performance at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, finishing the race in 3:53.60.
Although the time fell short of Ghana’s national record of 3:42.97, the relay squad displayed resilience and determination against strong international competition.

The result highlights the steady growth of Ghanaian swimming on the global stage as the country’s athletes continue gaining valuable experience at major championships. Every appearance at this level provides an opportunity to improve, inspire young swimmers, and strengthen Ghana’s presence in international aquatic sports.
With more competitions ahead, Team Ghana will be aiming to build on this experience and challenge national records in future events.
